Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results as opposed to search engine marketing (SEM) which deals with paid inclusion. Typically, the earlier (or higher) a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search and industry-specific vertical search engines. This gives a web site web presence. Our basic approach to SEO is drafted below:

  • always use accurate contextual information relevant to the content
  • extract specific meta-data, keywords and descriptors related to specific pages of the website
  • make content rotations periodically keeping past as archive and emfasizing information related to the specific website
  • Essence code is clean therefore searchable
  • linkage to same website or externals are meaningful with high contextual relevance
  • links and images have tag titles relevant to the linked webpage or to the content in order to be searchable
  • constract a perfectly set description meta for each website
  • the design vs. content should be on balance
  • create automatically a robots.txt file and a sitemap

It is essential to say that as there is positive ranking there is also neggative (white-hat vs. black-hat). Websited supported by Apogee Essence already have an average of 7.5 in Google page-ranking.
